LYNX is seeking a Service Island Attendant in Orlando to fuel, clean, and service buses, ensuring a ready-to-ride fleet for the community. This safety-sensitive, bargaining-unit role requires a Florida CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement, a valid DOT Medical Card, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with comprehensive health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 1 year of related work in vehicle servicing or industrial cleaning.
• Must possess valid Florida CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement and airbrakes, and a safe driving record.
• Must pass DOT physical exam and obtain a DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Fuel buses and service vehicles; check oil, water, and tire conditions.
• Wash buses; clean interiors and exteriors; maintain cleaning records.
• Refill fare boxes and complete cleaning/service documentation.
• Operate forklifts and automated cleaning equipment as needed.
• Drive and maneuver buses on public roadways; assist in emergency readiness.
• Maintain written logs of buses cleaned and serviced.
