Cajon Valley is seeking a compassionate Bus Attendant to provide essential transportation for students with special needs. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and experience working with children with disabilities, thriving in a team-oriented environment focused on student welfare. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to a supportive and family-like district culture while ensuring student safety and well-being.
Under the supervision of the Transportation Operations Supervisor, ride a school bus to provide safe and secure transportation for students with physical, medical, educational, and emotional needs; assist drivers in the loading, unloading, and securing of handicapped students.
You're an excellent candidate for our Bus Attendant position if you have a passion for working with children, enjoy working in a team, and possess the following qualifications and competencies: any combination equivalent to graduation from high school or equivalent, and experience working with children with physical and/or emotional disabilities.

Located in east San Diego County, the district covers 66.3 square miles and serves elementary students in grades K-8, feeding into the Grossmont Union High School District. The district has approximately 16,600 students, plus around 800 preschool students, across 26 schools (6 middle schools, 19 elementary schools, and 1 preschool). It is largely urban with some rural areas. We meet our employees' diverse needs with personalized attention only a caring school district can provide.
