We're looking for caring and energetic individuals to join our team as Tot Drop Attendants at Rec-Plex. If you love working with children and want to make a difference while their caregivers enjoy on-site activities, this is the perfect role for you.

Summary Of The Position

Tot Drop Attendants are responsible for the safety and supervision of children ages 3 months - 8 years while their caretakers are participating in on-site recreation activities at the Rec-Plex.

Available Shifts
  • Weekday Evenings: 4pm-8pm or 4:30pm-8:30pm
  • Saturday Mornings: 8am-12pm or 8:30am-12:30pm

Shifts begin late July/early August and continue throughout the school year.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Supervise, provide care, and engage with children in activities such as crafts, coloring, reading, games, and playing with toys.
  • Follow check-in/check-out protocols and communicate with parents about concerns or special requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Tot Drop room.
  • Recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations, administering first aid if necessary.
Qualifications Or Desired Qualifications
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Prior childcare experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, team-oriented mindset, positive attitude, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to hold and carry babies and toddlers.
