Job summary

ReNEW Schools is seeking Bus Assistants. Hours vary; Monday–Friday; 180 days per year. For a permanent position, candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED. Background check authorization is required before any work with students and costs $15, with a "cleared" rating.

Additionally, applicants must complete a federal I-9 form, tax forms, a direct-deposit form, and view training videos at the Educational Services Center (about one hour in length) before approval.

If seeking a PERMANENT POSITION, child care staff, noontime assistants, and bus assistants must have one of the following:

• High School Diploma or GED

Before an individual (permanent or substitute) can work with students or have his/her name submitted for approval to the Board of School Trustees, the candidate must complete the background check authorization (at a cost of $15.00--cash or check) and the background check must receive a "cleared" rating.Additionally, the individual must complete a federal I-9 form (providing appropriate identification documents); tax forms; a direct-deposit form (with an attached voided check); and, view training videos at the Educational Services Center (approximately one hour in length).
