Job summary

CVSD is seeking Transportation Assistant Relief positions as part-time classified staff under the CVSD Classified Salary Schedule.

Shifts include 6:45 am - 9:15 am M,T,W,F; 7:30 am - 10:00 am Th; and 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm M-F, with 5 hours per day across 189 days per year and a paid lunch for longer shifts.

Job Description for: Transportation Assistant Relief Positions

Classified Salary Schedule CVSD’s classified positions come with more than just a paycheck! In addition to competitive hourly rates, we provide a paid lunch for classified (non-teaching, non-administrative) employees, an added benefit that boosts total worked vs. paid compensation by 6–10% for those working more than 4.25 continuous hours per day

Benefits: Employees anticipated to work more than 630 hours per year are eligible for benefits through the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB). Standard benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Long-Term Disability. Positions anticipated to work 70 hours or more per month for at least 5 months over a 12-month period are eligible for retirement through the State Department of Retirement Services.
