Location: Springboro Community City Schools

Hours: 6:10 am – 8:00 am & 2:00 pm – 4:15 pm* (may be required to remain until 9:30 am or 5:00 pm depending on the covered schedule)

Overview

Assists in providing safe transportation so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the district's curriculum and extracurricular program.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists the bus driver in maintaining good conduct of all students assigned to the aide.
• Assists young or disabled students in getting on and off the bus.
• Provides basic first aid and administers prescription medications as needed.
• Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
• Demonstrates positive relationship with students, staff and parents.
• Establishes a supportive and empathetic relationship with students.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Student Monitor Permit (may be obtained after employment).
• Possess a valid Ohio driver's license.
• Pass a criminal background check.

Conditions of Employment

• Effective Date: ASAP
• Terms of Employment: One-year probationary period.
• Hours of Work: 6:10 am – 8:00 am and 2:00 pm – 4:15 pm (approximately 4 hours).
• Salary and Benefits: According to the current negotiated agreement. $16.25/hour.
