Job summary

Southwest Allen County Schools in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a bus aide to assist special education students during transport to and from school. This 9-month, part-time role involves morning and afternoon routes with approximately 6:30 am–9:00 am and 2:00 pm–4:30 pm hours.

The ideal candidate will be willing to work with special needs students, be patient, dependable and able to communicate effectively with children and staff. A lift test confirming ability to lift 50+ lbs is required.

Terms of Employment
This is a 9 month position. 4-5 hours per day. Additional hours may be available as routes/needs change.
