Job summary

Kloeckner Metals - Americas is seeking a Burner Operator for the 2nd shift (2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.). You will set up, operate, and program burner systems to produce quality parts safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include torch setup, CNC programming, and final packaging with proper labeling. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to work overtime, and the capacity to pass a physical exam.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work overtime, sometimes on short notice.
• Must be able to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing and mobility.
• Reliable work history is essential.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision in inspection tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret work orders to map order placements and prioritize as instructed.
• Locate materials on the floor or staging areas and use material handling equipment as needed.
• Select torch tips based on material type and desired edges.
• Program CNC per work order and clean slag from finished parts.
• Package, shrink wrap, label skids, and note unload requirements.
