Job summary

Qualifications

• CNA certification required; CPR certification required.
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience a plus.
• EMT/Paramedic or nursing student clinicals may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care tasks as directed by RN/ physician.
• Assists with ADLs and patient comfort and safety.
• Collects specimens (blood, urine, stool, sputum) and prepares them for lab processing.
• Monitors vital signs and documents them in the health record.
• Prepares examination/procedure rooms and assists in procedures.
• Transports patients and assists with transfers and discharges.
