Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience in heavy industrial or construction settings. Forklift operation and basic computer use are also part of the job.

• Operate burn tables and related machinery to cut and shape plates and parts in a safe and efficient manner, following process work instructions.
• Suggest improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
• Read and interpret advanced blueprints and communicate effectively to ensure project requirements are met.
• Exhibit a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and teamwork.
• Use equipment such as plasma burn tables, O2/Fuel hand torches, hand grinders, hand scrapers, tape measures, and calipers to complete assigned tasks.
• Access and reference work instructions for current jobs or projects while understanding department KPIs, metrics, and expectations.
