Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced Burn Table and Plate Roller Operator in Creola, AL. This role requires a seasoned professional who can operate CNC burn tables and 4-roll plate rolling equipment independently from day one, with safety as a priority.

You will handle heavy plate fabrication for storage tanks, vessels, and related components, using forklifts and overhead cranes. A hands-on, senior-level operator is expected to troubleshoot, verify against drawings, and support welding

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional plate cutting and rolling experience.
• Experience with carbon steel and/or stainless steel.
• Must work independently with little supervision.
• Safety-focused, mechanically skilled, able to read engineering prints.

Responsibilities

• Operate burn table: startup, load programs, verify nesting, set torch heights and parameters.
• Operate 4-roll plate rolling machines to roll plates up to 1-1/2” thick x 10’ wide.
• Run 3-roll pipe rollers and 3-roll angle rollers for bending.
• Load/unload heavy plates using forklifts and overhead cranes; ensure safe handling.
• Verify finished parts against drawings and troubleshoot quality issues.

Seeking an experienced Burn Table and Plate Roller Operator to join our client's team in Creole, AL. This is a hands-on, high-volume production role supporting heavy fabrication projects. We are not looking to train entry-level workersThis position requires a seasoned professional with proven experience who can walk in and operate machinery independently on day one. You must also be willing to assist with other shop tasks as needed to keep production moving.The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically skilled, and fully capable of independently burning plate and rolling plate, pipe, and angle profiles strictly to engineering prints.What You Will DoBurn Table Operation: Power up CNC burn tables from startup, load existing cutting programs, verify nesting layouts, and begin cutting without assistance. Set torch heights, check consumables, confirm cut parameters, and perform basic troubleshooting.Rolling Equipment Operation: Operate 4-roll plate rolling machines to roll thin to heavy plate steel up to 1-1/2” thick x 10’ wide. Shape components like shell plates for storage tanks, vessel cans, and manway necks.Section Bending: Run 3-roll pipe rollers (1” up to 4’ diameter) and 3-roll angle rollers to bend angles from 1”x1” up to 5”x5” (both leg-in and leg-out).Material Handling: Safely load and unload heavy raw plates and finished parts using forklifts and overhead cranes.Quality Control: Verify finished parts against drawings, troubleshoot cut-quality issues, and mark, etch, and organize burned parts for the welding and fabrication teams.What We Are Looking ForExperience: 5–10 years of professional plate cutting and rolling experience is highly preferred.Materials: Prior experience handling and shaping carbon steel and/or stainless steel.Autonomy: Must be capable of working independently with little to no supervision.Testing: Because this is a senior role, candidates will be asked to complete a hands-on equipment operation test prior to receiving a formal job offer.Why apply?Top-of-Market Pay for Your Trade: We know true, dual-threat operators who can both program a burn table and precisely roll heavy plate are rare.
