Opti Staffing's client in Tigard, OR is seeking an experienced CNC Burn Table Operator to operate plasma and oxy-fuel burning equipment to produce precision structural steel components.

You will read blueprints, verify dimensions with measuring tools, and work with production teams. Cross-training on additional equipment is available, with potential for permanent placement after probation.

Qualifications

• Experience operating plasma and/or oxy-fuel burning tables is required.
• Ability to read and interpret industrial blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Experience with measuring equipment and reading calipers/fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC plasma structural cutting machines.
• Operate oxy-fuel coping machines.
• Operate PCD (Saw/Drill Combination) equipment.
• Read and interpret industrial blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Verify dimensions using measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Perform routine machine setup and maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Work closely with production teams to meet quality and production goals.
• Cross-train on additional fabrication equipment as needed.

Position: CNC Burn Table Operator

Location: Tigard, OR

Pay: $28.00/hr.

Starting Pay Schedule: Training on day shift: Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Once trained: Swing shift Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 2:30am

What You'll Do

We're looking for an experienced CNC Burn Table Operator to join a growing fabrication team. In this role, you'll operate plasma and oxy-fuel burning equipment to produce precision structural steel components. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with burning experience who wants to expand their skills, as cross-training on additional equipment will be provided.

• Operate CNC plasma structural cutting machines.
• Operate oxy-fuel coping (Coper) machines.
• Operate PCD (Saw/Drill Combination) equipment.
• Read and interpret industrial blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Verify dimensions using measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Perform routine machine setup and maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Work closely with production teams to meet quality and production goals.
• Cross-train on additional fabrication equipment as needed.

What You Need to Have:

• Experience operating plasma and/or oxy-fuel burning tables (required)
• Previous experience with CNC structural steel burning equipment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret industrial blueprints
• Experience working with mild and galvanized steel
• Ability to accurately read and use measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
• Willingness to learn additional equipment through cross-training
