Accelera in Creola, AL is seeking a skilled Burn Table and Plate Roller Operator for our production facility. This role demands high-volume, hands-on work on significant fabrication projects and requires an experienced professional who can manage machinery autonomously from day one.

You will burn plates, roll pipe, plate, and angle profiles to exact engineering specifications, read blueprints, and support shop floor activities to keep production on schedule.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional experience in plate rolling and cutting.
• Proficiency in shaping and managing stainless steel or carbon steel materials.
• Ability to perform all job functions with minimal oversight.
• Hands-on equipment operation assessment required before offer.

Responsibilities

• Manage CNC burn table startup, execute pre-loaded cutting programs, confirm nesting layouts, and initiate cuts autonomously to maintain efficient production flow.
• Utilize 4-roll plate rolling machinery to shape steel up to 1-1/2” thick and 10’ wide, creating components like vessel cans, storage tank shells, and manway necks.
• Operate 3-roll pipe and angle rollers to bend materials, including pipes up to 4’ in diameter and angles ranging from 1”x1” to 5”x5” in both leg-in and leg-out configurations.
• Support a safe and efficient workplace by utilizing overhead cranes and forklifts to maneuver heavy raw materials and finished products.
• Ensure high standards of output by verifying parts against blueprints, resolving cut-quality issues, and organizing etched components for the fabrication team.] ,
