Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a semiconductor reliability engineer to drive HTOL/Burn-In hardware and software development for next-gen datacenter CPUs/GPUs. You will own BIB design, test-pattern integration, and program debugging, collaborating with design, product engineering, suppliers, and global labs.

You will bring MCC/C-Breez experience, hands-on debugging, and data-driven optimization to ensure reliability requirements are met for new products.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience programming in Python/C++/SQL and scripting languages.
• Experience with HTOL/BI hardware test development and MCC/C-Breez environment is essential.
• BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Design custom High-Power Burn-In Boards (BIBs) for CPU and GPUs from early development stage.
• Interface with PCB fabrication and socket manufacturers to guide board development.
• Establish HTOL/BI pattern requirements and develop stress programs with DFT patterns.
• Integrate patterns into stress programs, debug, and maintain reliability test code in MCC/C-Breez environment.
• Lead hardware validation of First Article boards for HTOL and Burn-in; debug hardware and software issues.
• Coordinate with offshore factories and reliability labs during HTOL/BI hardware and test program bring-up.
• Analyze test data pre/post Burn-in to identify optimization opportunities; create data-logging scripts.
• Support ESD and latch-up hardware and stress program development as needed.
