Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a registered nurse for the Burn Intensive Care Unit, 3 West, at the Main Campus- Glick. The role includes caring for adult and pediatric burn patients with rotating 12-hour shifts, weekend and holiday rotations, and opportunities to work with a multidisciplinary team in a Level One Trauma Center.

Required are Ohio RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred or to be obtained within specified timelines. PRN positions require one year of relevant RN experience.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Current ACLS and PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.

Responsibilities

Care for hemodynamic instabilities.
Sterile dressing changes and infection prevention.
Complex wound care.
Managing surgical drains, mechanical ventilators, and CRRT.
