Job summary

UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider for the Burn ICU. The role supports interdisciplinary care under physician supervision and requires board-certified PA or dual-certified ACNP/FNP, or eligibility with certification before start.

You will perform history taking, exam, orders, education, leadership, quality improvement and participate in patient care delivery as part of the on-site team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
• Board certification required or eligible with certification before start date.
• Licensed as an APRN/PA in North Carolina or eligible to licensure in NC.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history, perform physical exams, and interpret tests to form diagnoses.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans with appropriate follow-up.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment and follow-up care.
• Lead and participate in interdisciplinary teams and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Perform procedures in accordance with privileging and departmental guidelines.
