Job summary

Uniti is seeking a Kinetic Buried Drop Technician to perform the installation of buried copper, fiber, and coaxial drop cables from the hub to customer homes. You will engage with customers, interpret work drawings, and promote Uniti products.

This safety-sensitive role includes overtime, travel, and training responsibilities. The position offers hourly pay, union bidding, and requires DOT compliance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to walk ½ mile+ while operating a drop plow.
• Willingness to travel overnight and out of state as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform buried copper, fiber, and coaxial drop cable installations to connect Uniti’s network to residences.
• Use technical knowledge to create connections with customers and promote Uniti products.
• Interpret drawings, complete paperwork, and train new employees.
