Job description

Join to apply for the Burger King Shift Leader role at GPS Hospitality.

We need a Shift Leader to join our restaurant team. Shift Leaders are trained to perform all the duties of Team Members, with additional responsibility for directing daily operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager. This includes ensuring compliance with company standards in areas such as product preparation, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, and team management.

Job Duties
  1. Ensure your team provides outstanding service & satisfied guests
  2. Train & coach the team
  3. Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to run a great restaurant every shift, every day
  4. Set an example by maintaining an excellent working knowledge of restaurant operations
  5. Provide coaching and feedback to the team
  6. Supervise in accordance with GPS values, traits, and behaviors
  7. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
  8. Follow and enforce all cash policies; address and document violations
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager
Job Requirements
  • 0-2 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
  • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the US
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching
  • Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures
  • Stand for 8-10 hours
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
