Job summary

Patriot Rail Company is seeking a Transload Operator in Indiana. You will handle outbound and inbound inventory, safely load and unload products, and operate forklifts and transfer equipment.

The role requires adherence to SOPs/JSAs, periodic safety checks, and occasional travel to other transload terminals. Responsibilities include ensuring quality control, performing daily safety inspections, and maintaining a clean work area while complying with background checks and drug testing as part of

Qualifications

• Read, write, and understand English.
• Basic math skills.
• Computer skills (light data entry).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Capable to learn how to operate and maintain railcar/trans loading equipment.
• Ability and willingness to travel to other transload terminals to assist when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Outbound and inbound inventory receiving, etc.
• Safely and timely prepare and load products for transport.
• Safely and timely stage products for loading.
• Safely and timely load products onto truck, and/or railcar.
• Perform daily forklift safety checks, preventive maintenance and report issues.
• Operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors.
• Facilitate loading from railcars into tank trucks for bulk liquids.
