Job summary

Watco Transloading, LLC is seeking a Yard Associate to support bulk terminal operations, unloading trucks and railcars, and operating material-handling equipment. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment at our terminal.

You will collaborate with drivers, warehouse teams, and management; follow SOPs, PPE policies, and safety regulations while maintaining equipment and facilities to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Works well as part of a team and follows directions.
• Maintains regular attendance and supports high performance standards.
• Performs outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions and adheres to safety rules.
• Reads, writes and communicates in English; basic math skills apply.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily terminal, vessel, and warehouse operations.
• Communicates with superintendents, foremen, and management to determine staffing needs and priorities.
• Operates and maintains equipment for safe transfer of materials between silos, railcars, barges, and vessels.
• Ensures safety policies, PPE, and SOPs are followed; supports terminal efficiency and teamwork.
