Job summary

Ascentek is hiring for a Shipping and Receiving Operator to handle bulk loading, warehousing, and distribution tasks in a warehouse setting. Responsibilities include operating pumps and bulk trucks, loading and unloading cargo, and maintaining accurate inventory with a warehouse management system.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, basic math, and strong attention to detail, with forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

Must be able to effectively communicate to maintain positive relations with team members.
Capable of standing, walking and repeatedly climbing into and out of truck tractor or forklift several times throughout the day. Ability to lift 50–60 lbs periodically.
Must be able to perform basic math skills.
Must have attention to detail and flexibility.
Knowledge of quality management systems and inspection processes.
Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

Operate mechanical/hydraulic pumps and six bulk trucks on site.
Load and offload product, transfer bulk liquids into drums and totes.
Use forklift and pallet jacks to pick orders and load freight.
Inspect materials for nonconformities and document the process.
Prepare hazardous materials for shipment and complete DOT paperwork when needed.
