Job summary

Ascentek in Kentucky is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Operator for the second shift (11:00 am – 7:30 pm). You will perform small package shipping, order picking and shipping, forklift operation, and handling bulk lubricants in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will maintain inventory with our warehouse management system, ensure safe operation of equipment, and follow DOT HazMat and safety guidelines. A high school diploma and forklift experience are preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift 50 lbs periodically.
Must read and understand written and verbal instructions in English.
One or more years in a warehouse setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate pumps and bulk trucks in the warehouse.
Drive six different bulk trucks on site.
Handle hoses and connections to load products by the gallon.
Use warehouse management system to maintain inventory.
Pack and wrap pallets for shipment and prepare hazardous materials paperwork as needed.
Follow safety guidelines and company policies.
