Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Bulk Account Merchandiser Specialist to support the POD Model in a flexible, 24/7 operation. The role helps ensure proper route coverage and serves as a liaison between customer, merchandiser and driver.

The responsibilities include merchandising on display, executing promotions, organizing back room, and maintaining POS materials while fostering strong relationships with store personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0–1 year of work experience.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs. Provides vacation coverage to the Bulk Account Merchandiser and POD Merchandiser.
• Manages, sells, and executes in an assigned group of customers on daily routes and generates sales orders based on the assigned delivery frequency for each customer to ensure day-to-day success and contribute to revenue, volume, and gross profit.
• Executes applicable promotions and new products based on target lists, LOS initiatives, marketing promotions, POS, and plans to ensure RED scores for assigned customers.
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, arranging returns of pallets and shells, damaged and out of date product to the branch.
• Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on display and shelves, rotates product, and checks vendor operation.
• Fosters business relationship with store personnel through follow-up on requests, pricing, programs, and opportunities.
• May be the first call for late PM/early AM weekends ensuring proper route coverage and acting as liaison among customer, merchandiser and driver.
