A leading company in the food manufacturing industry is seeking a dedicated individual to prepare and batch gravy ingredients. The role involves following strict guidelines for ingredient quality and production accuracy, ensuring a clean and safe workspace, and participating in team efforts to enhance operational efficiency. Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Prepare batches of gravy ingredients and/or super-micros for the kitchen according to approved formulas for the production run.
Participate as a team member by developing, communicating, and implementing team concepts, programs, and policies. Attend team meetings and foster cohesiveness on major issues such as direction, plans, budgets, and policies. Identify and address areas lacking cohesiveness and work collaboratively to resolve issues, aiming for synergy within the organization.
Familiarize with Simmons’ operating systems (e.g., quality, security, environment, policies) and support these systems by understanding the impact of your actions and communicating concerns or improvement ideas.
Perform other duties as necessary to support business objectives. This description guides your activities but is not exhaustive of all tasks you may be asked to perform.
Travel: N/A.
Technical Experience: Machine operation preferred.
Industry Experience: Manufacturing or warehouse; knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
