Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Loader Operator in Tampa, FL to operate a front-end loader and manage bulk materials safely and efficiently. The role requires routine maintenance, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with plant staff to meet material quality targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loader to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage areas, feed conveyors, hoppers and load trucks or railcars.
• Start engine, shift gears, press pedals, and steer to operate loader.
• Move levers to lower/tilt bucket and drive to load materials.
• Move levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled and dump material.
• Verify aggregate quantities in storage and fill hoppers as needed to maintain material quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on loaders including lubrication, fueling and cleaning.
• Ensure materials meet established quality standards and safety practices.
• Comply with all safety regulations and protocols during operations.
