Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loader to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers and to load trucks or railcars.
• Start engine, shift gears, press pedals, and turn steering wheel to operate loader.
• Move levers to lower and tilt bucket and drive loader to push material.
• Move levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled and dump material.
• Verify amount of aggregate in storage bins and fill hoppers to maintain material quality and quantity.
• Perform routine maintenance on loaders (lubricating, fueling, cleaning).
• Ensure materials meet established standards and safety procedures.
