Bulk Loader Operator

SHIFT: Third shift (11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.)

PAY: $25.00 + $1.00 shift differential

JOB SUMMARY:

This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business, supporting our network of local cooperatives, independent dealers, and other large retailers across the United States. Through industry-leading R&D and dedicated partnerships, we innovate nutrition products and practices that help animals reach their full potential for a healthier, more productive life.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment such as machining, processing, assembly, or packaging machinery.
  • Operate machine tools, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to produce according to specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
  • Monitor output quality, discard or re-manufacture faulty products.
  • Maintain accurate daily production records.
  • Examine processing materials and operate all equipment and processes, monitoring machine parameters and troubleshooting issues.
Required Experience:
  • Basic computer skills
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Age: 18 years or older
  • Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Critical thinking skills for problem-solving
  • Commitment to safety at all times
  • Reliable time management and punctuality
  • Good coordination and teamwork skills
  • Active learning and listening skills
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and climbing
  • Wearing personal protective equipment
  • Working in temperature-variable environments, including cold and hot zones, with potential dust exposure
  • Availability for shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
