Job summary

BWC Terminals LLC., headquartered near Houston, TX, is seeking a Terminal Operator for our Gretna, LA location. You will load/unload hazardous and non-hazardous liquids to/from trucks and railcars, perform transfers, and assist with maintenance while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and TWIC eligibility, with the ability to work overtime and communicate effectively with teammates and customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain TWIC card.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Safely load/unload and blend hazardous and non-hazardous liquids from trucks and railcars.
• Complete all loading/unloading per established procedures and required paperwork.
• Assist with tank alignment for transfers and operate pumps after valves are opened.
• Perform preventive maintenance and general housekeeping in the terminal.
• Follow safety, regulatory, and company policies at all times.
• Work with team to resolve issues and support efficient terminal operations.
