Job summary

Bay State Milling Company is seeking a hands-on team member to support flour handling operations on site. You will assist in blending flours, loading truckloads, and maintaining the bulk loading system while ensuring safety and compliance with quality standards.

The role requires basic high school education or GED and the ability to follow written and oral instructions. You will work rotating shifts with overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• Must read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to write simple correspondence.
• Able to present information to customers and employees in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare truckloads of flour for shipping in bulk containers.
• Blends flours and treats to meet customer and company specifications.
• Perform quality assurance testing.
• Move tractor trailers for loading and staging.
• Transfer flour from bin to bin as needed.
• Maintain bulk loading equipment and keep records up to date.
• Assist mill crews with operations, sanitation, safety, and performance of the mills.
• Keep bulk loading areas and mill office clean and sanitary.
• Maintain accurate records of flour loads, trailers, inventories, etc.
• Work on rotating shifts; 40 hours per week plus overtime.
