Job summary

Canada Dry Potomac Corporation, a member of The Honickman Companies, is seeking a dedicated delivery driver for Springfield, VA. You will transport and deliver products to stores on your assigned route, ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $27.50 with overtime and holiday premium pay, along with medical, dental, and vision benefits. Employment eligibility starts after 90 days under the Union.

Qualifications

• Equivalent of high school diploma or GED, including standard transmission.
• Valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement; MVR/driver abstract reviewed.
• FMCSA regulations knowledge.
• Certified with electric Pallet Jack, Store Dolly and Store Jacks.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• MS Office including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Obtain routing information, stops and customer billing daily.
• Deliver customers in the order assigned.
• Transport products to the customers and unload product from truck.
• Collect money from billing if required.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

You will be responsible for the transporting and delivery of products to stores and key clients on your assigned route in a safe and efficient manner.

We offer a competitive salary of $27.50 per hour with opportunity for overtime and holiday premium pay. Excellent benefits which include medical, dental and vision. Eligibility in benefit plans begin the first of the month after 90 days of employment through the Union.

POSITION SUMMARY

To contribute to your areas sales objectives by transporting and delivering products to stores and supermarkets on your assigned route in a safe and efficient manner.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.

• Obtain routing information, stops and customer billing daily.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION

• Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D, including standard transmission.
• Must maintain a valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement. As verified by a current MVR/driver abstract, must meet all qualifications as defined under DOT Regulation 49 CFR 383.51.
• Must meet Company Driver MVR Qualification Standards.
• Must be knowledge of FMCSA regulations.
• Must be certified with working with an electric Pallet Jack, Store Dolly and Store Jacks.
• Related training or certification.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, hand-held, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
• MS Office including Word and Excel.
