Job summary

The Honickman Companies is hiring a dedicated delivery driver to service our Richmond, VA route. You will transport and deliver products to stores and key clients, load and unload, and ensure accurate billing and merchandising on your route.

The position offers a $26.00 daily rate plus commission, with potential to gross up to $750–$1,000 per week. Requires 6 months of truck driving experience, a valid Class B CDL with air brakes, and knowledge of FMCSA regulations.

Qualifications

• 6 months commercial truck driving experience required.
• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.

• Must meet driver MVR qualification standards.
• Experience with pallet jack and related loading equipment.
• Team-oriented with ability to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Obtain routing information, stops and customer billing daily.
• Organize route and transport products to customers; unload as needed.
• Merchandise products where required.
• Collect money from billing when required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

You will be responsible for the transporting and delivery of products to stores and key clients on your assigned route in a safe and efficient manner.

Daily Rate:

$26.00 + commission. This position has the ability to gross up to $750 -$1000 a week.

Additional roles and responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Obtain routing information, stops and customer billing daily.
• Organize route.
• Transport products to the customers and unload product from truck.
• Merchandise product where required.
• Collect money from billing if required.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• 6 months commercial truck driving experience, including standard transmission (if applicable).
• Must maintain a valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement. As verified by a current MVR/driver abstract, must meet all qualifications as defined under DOT Regulation 49 CFR 383.51.
• Must be knowledge of FMCSA regulations.
• Must meet Company Driver MVR Qualification Standards.
• Must be experienced with working with a Pallet Jack, Store Dolly and Store Jacks.
• Related training or certification.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, hand-held, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
