Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Houston is seeking a Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk to join the Store Operations Team. This role supports customers, arranges and rotates cheese displays, and helps maintain a clean, well-stocked Bulk Deli.

Two shifts are available; morning shift focuses on replenishment under the Bulk Deli Manager's guidance. The position requires physical effort, including lifting up to 60 pounds, and the ability to read and follow product codes.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with public and coworkers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, pricing codes and shelf tags.
• Lift and move up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision the Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service. This position assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli.

The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk position consists of two different shifts. The morning shift begins the day replenishing product, as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager, in a specifically assigned area. The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk is responsible for assisting customers throughout the entire shift. The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerks will also maintain the cleanliness of the department throughout the shift.

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
