You will de-box cheese, weigh when needed, maintain records, operate cutters and pallet trucks, and rotate across bulk lines. The role requires basic math, ability to read production reports, and teamwork in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Ability to read, prepare, and comprehend production reports and worksheets.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Ability to communicate with line personnel regarding information contained; and quality and safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain area, equipment, and personal sanitation.
• De-box/unwrap cheese from original packaging.
• Weigh cheese when applicable.
• Manual measurement and countdown of cheese for customer specs.
• Inspect/clean cheese and maintain production records.
• Keep line stocked with product to avoid downtime.
• Operate cutters and lifting equipment; load cheese for processing.
• Enter data on production reports and communicate safety issues.
