Job summary

Enstructure is seeking an Operations Manager – Bulk & Bagging Warehouses in Wilmington, DE to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations supporting maritime cargo. You will ensure efficient handling, storage, processing, and distribution of bulk materials and bagged goods while upholding safety and productivity.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in warehouse or terminal operations, strong leadership, and familiarity with port logistics, OSHA safety standards, and SOP implementation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse or terminal operations experience.
• Strong leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations (OSHA) and environmental compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all warehouse operations related to bulk materials and bagging processes, ensuring optimal throughput and efficiency
• Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate tracking, storage, and reporting of bulk and packaged goods
• Coordinate closely with port operations, vessel schedules, trucking companies, and rail providers to ensure seamless cargo flow
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards and company policies
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for bulk handling, bagging, and storage operations
• Monitor equipment usage and coordinate maintenance for conveyors, bagging lines, forklifts, and other warehouse machinery
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party service providers as needed
• Prepare operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics for senior leadership
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives for warehouse operations
• Ensure compliance with environmental and maritime-related regulations for bulk commodities
