Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated in Hickory, NC is seeking a Bulk Account Merchandiser Specialist to support the POD Model within a 24/7 operation. The role includes ensuring proper route coverage, coordinating between customer, merchandiser and driver for order refusals and inventory management, and executing planned promotions.

The position emphasizes on-shelf execution, merchandise replenishment, and collaborative relationships with store staff, with a focus on safety and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year of work experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandise, and rotates products on display and shelf.
• Manages, sells, and executes for an assigned group of customers on daily routes to ensure sales and gross profit.
• Executes promotions and new products per target lists and marketing plans to ensure RED scores.
• Organizes back room, stocks and pallets; handles returns of damaged/out-of-date product.
• Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials and rotates product on shelves.
• Fosters relationships with store personnel and follows up on requests and pricing opportunities.
• May serve as first point of contact for late PM/early AM weekends and coordinate route coverage.
