Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated, located in Fairfax, VA, is seeking a Bulk Account Merchandiser to sell, order, and present products across assigned accounts. You will collaborate with customers to generate accurate orders, execute promotions, and ensure quality standards while following safety guidelines.

The role requires early starts (5:00 AM) on pre-set routes, with a focus on building relationships, hitting sales targets, and maintaining inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs repeatedly).
• Secondary education beyond high school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages, sells, and executes in an assigned group of customers on daily routes and generates sales orders.
• Executes applicable promotions and new products to ensure RED scores for assigned customers.
• Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and the shelf.
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor.
• Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on display and shelve where permitted.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through proactive follow-up.
• Identifies and communicates competitive issues or market activity and executes duties safely.
