Job summary

Welocalize is seeking a Bulgarian Localization QA Tester / Proofreader to join a long-term engagement. You will review Bulgarian content for naturalness and accuracy, and polish it for end users.

You’ll also execute test cases, identify localization bugs, and report issues through internal bug-tracking systems. From time to time you may translate content from English into Bulgarian and explore interfaces to spot localization problems.

Qualifications

• Native-level Bulgarian fluency
• Strong attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and Bulgarian
• Interest in quality assurance for digital products
• Ability to understand testing instructions and follow test cases

Responsibilities

• Write and report bugs using internal bug-tracking systems
• Review translations for readability, accuracy, and cultural appropriateness
• Execute test cases across products and documentation
• Verify fixes after defects are resolved
• Translate content from English to Bulgarian when required
• Identify linguistic or localization issues in user interfaces
• Adhere to client style guides, glossaries, and QA standards
• Communicate effectively to troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed
• Complete assigned QA tasks in a timely and quality manner
