Job summary

UPS in Colorado is seeking a Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain the systems that keep our operation running smoothly. You will be responsible for diagnosing automation issues, responding to alarms, and performing preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.

You will calibrate plant-floor devices, collaborate with maintenance teams, and drive continuous improvement across our automation systems to keep UPS operations efficient and reliable.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience required or preferred.
  • Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting and automation systems.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, motor controls and AC/DC electrical systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Commitment to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

We're looking for a Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys troubleshooting, optimizing, and maintaining the systems that keep our operation running smoothly. From conveyors and controls to plant-floor technology, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance.

What You'll Do
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve automation and equipment issues
  • Respond quickly to alarms, system alerts, and operational interruptions
  • Perform preventive maintenance to stop problems before they happen
  • Calibrate and optimize plant-floor devices for maximum efficiency
  • Partner with maintenance teams to identify solutions and reduce downtime

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Engineering Degree Or Equivalent Experience Preferred
  • Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, controls, or automation systems

Schedule Requirements
  • Monday through Friday
  • 3:00 AM start time
  • 6:30 PM start time

Candidates must currently reside within the local geographic area. Relocation assistance is not available.
