Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Building Technology Systems Lead Consultant to join our Dallas, Brentwood, or Knoxville team. You will lead BTS design, documentation and construction support for complex projects, coordinating with owners, architects and vendors.

You will manage scope, schedule and budgets, market capabilities to win work, and guide a team of consultants from concept through construction close-out.

Qualifications

• RCDD certification is required for communications systems subject matter expert.
• Four-year degree in engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide designs for Telecommunications and Electronic Safety & Security systems.
• Lead BTS team from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with clients to document system requirements.
• Create design narratives and construction documents.
• Budget fee responsibility on assigned projects.
• Manage resources and staff.
• Coordinate meetings with design team and clients.
• Participate in construction meetings and RFIs.
• Perform site surveys.
• Coordinate integration with other building systems.
• Understand codes and standards.
