Job summary

WSP is seeking a Building Technology Systems – Intermediate Consultant for its Houston and Denver offices. You will participate in the full project cycle from design through construction close-out on high-profile projects.

You will support the Lead consultant in design production, prepare system designs for telecommunications and security, and coordinate with clients. The role requires a BS in engineering and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with strong Revit and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent.
• 1–3 years designing Security and Telecommunications systems in AEC.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present to clients.
• Proficient in Revit and MS Office.
• Experience coordinating with clients and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead consultant in drawing production and meeting support.
• Create designs for Telecommunications and Security systems.
• Coordinate with clients to document requirements.
• Develop design narratives and construction documents (drawings, CSI specs).
• Manage budgets and project resources.
• Coordinate and host project meetings with design team and clients.
• Review submittals and RFIs; conduct site surveys.
• Ensure integration with other building systems; understand codes.
