Job summary

HGA is offering a paid Summer 2027 Building Technology Engineering Internship in Milwaukee, WI or San Francisco, CA. The 12-week program starts by June 1, 2027, with a flexible start based on school schedules, and includes mentorship and exposure to healthcare, education, science, and other markets.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in ABET-accredited Engineering program.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Familiarity with Revit.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering designs, project solutions, and construction documents.
• Support design calculations and analyses under licensed engineers.
• Research applicable codes, standards, and regulations with project teams.
• Review and analyze reports, drawings, specifications, test results, and other project data.
• Utilize Revit, MS Office, and other engineering software to support deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and team members to contribute to project success.
• Participate in project meetings and gain exposure to multidisciplinary design processes.
• Visit construction sites to assist with field observations, information gathering, and documentation.
• Develop technical, professional, and communication skills through hands-on project experience and mentorship.
