Job summary

HGA invites college or graduate students to a paid Building Technology Engineering Internship for Summer 2027 in Milwaukee, WI or San Francisco, CA. The roughly 12-week program runs June 1, 2027 through mid-August, with mentorship and hands-on project experience across design and engineering teams.

You'll use Revit and MS Office, assist with engineering designs, and collaborate with licensed professionals. Applicants should be pursuing ABET-accredited engineering degrees and have a 3.0+ GPA

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Fields may include Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Architectural Engineering.
• Rising junior/senior or graduate student encouraged; GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Familiarity with Revit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering designs, project solutions, and construction documents.
• Support design calculations and analyses under licensed professionals.
• Research codes and regulations with project teams.
• Review reports, drawings, specs, test results, and data.
• Visit construction sites for field observations and documentation.
• Develop technical and communication skills through hands-on mentorship.
