Job summary

Brandywine Realty Trust is seeking a Building Technician to support one of our teams by performing operating and maintenance tasks for one or more assigned properties. This on-site role acts as the facilities maintenance expert handling HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience in commercial or institutional buildings with complex mechanical systems, and a high school diploma (building trades coursework desirable).

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in commercial or institutional buildings with complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• High School diploma or equivalent; building trades curriculum desirable.
• Valid state driver's license to travel to adjacent properties or respond to after-hours calls.

This person is essentially the onsite facilities maintenance expert who handles HVAC, Plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs for buildings.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Two to three years of successful experience in commercial or institutional buildings with complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of a building trades curriculum at a recognized technical school is desirable.
• Possess valid state-issued driver's license needed to travel to adjacent properties or to respond to after-hours trouble call.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
