Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire, WI, seeks a maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, controls, and pneumatic components.

You will operate high pressure boilers, chillers, and generators, use CMMS for work orders, manage inventory, and participate in ongoing education. Night shift 6PM–6AM with a 2-3-2 schedule; every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year associate's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing trade or Healthcare Mechanic Certification.
• Or completion of Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing trade apprenticeship program or equivalent.
• Or 3-years' experience in a related field.
• 4 years of military experience in a related field may also be considered in lieu of the educational and experience requirements.
• Driver License is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, controls, and pneumatic components.
• Operate high pressure boilers, chillers, and generators; use CMMS and test equipment.
• Prioritize work to keep patient needs first and complete work orders on time.
• Attend classes and continuous education to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
