Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Non-Licensed Building Engineer for the 1st shift (Wed-Sat, 7:30-6). The role focuses on the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across assigned properties, including rounds, preventive maintenance and housekeeping to ensure safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of related experience, holds relevant trade qualifications or licenses when required, and can respond to emergencies,

Qualifications

5+ years of operating mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in commercial properties.
Appropriate trade license/permit may be required (e.g., Refrigeration/Boiler etc.).
Experience with energy management systems and building automation.
Ability to work extended hours and shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC duties for buildings.
Maintain boilers, chillers, pumps and air distribution systems.
Respond to emergencies and coordinate with management.
Document activities and ensure compliance with codes and safety requirements.
