Job summary

GULFCOAST AIR SYSTEMS, INC. is seeking a Building Systems Service Sales Consultant to grow and retain a portfolio of commercial, industrial, and institutional clients in the Tampa area.

You’ll drive service contracts, retrofit strategies, and energy improvements, engaging with owners, facility managers, and executives to build value. You will conduct on-site assessments, develop proposals, and present business cases, balancing technical details with strategic business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial HVAC service sales (required).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to commute across Hillsborough County.
• HVAC mechanical knowledge (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Comfort working in person and navigating both executive and technical conversations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, and manage a robust pipeline of prospects and active opportunities.
• Cold call and book meetings with owners, facility managers, and management companies.
• Call on existing customers to identify additional needs and cross-sell solutions.
• Conduct on-site assessments—rooftops, mechanical rooms, and occupied spaces—to inform scoping.
• Price, negotiate, and deliver comprehensive proposals for service contracts, repair work, and retrofits.
• Present compelling business cases to C-level leaders and technical stakeholders.
