Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking an early‑career Mechanical Engineer to join our building systems team. This role focuses on K‑12 education and commercial facilities, with 1–4 years of experience encouraged to apply.

You will assist in designing HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems, prepare drawings in Revit, perform load calculations with RISA and RAM, and support senior engineers from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• EIT preferred or actively pursuing.
• Experience with Revit and mechanical analysis tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Interest in education and commercial building design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for K‑12 and commercial buildings.
• Prepare drawings, models, and documentation using Revit.
• Perform mechanical load calculations and system analysis using tools such as RISA, RAM, and other engineering software.
• Support senior engineers with specifications, reports, and technical documentation.
• Participate in project coordination with architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Contribute to site visits, field observations, and construction administration tasks.
• Maintain awareness of building codes, energy standards, and industry best practices.
