CGL Facility Management, LLC partners with commercial clients to provide full-scope, contract facility maintenance services.Role SnapshotPerform preventive and corrective HVAC maintenance and limited installations for our client, driven by CMMS work orders.Document all work thoroughly and accurately in the CMMS in line with data collection requirements.Core ResponsibilitiesService and maintain motors, engines, pumps, belts, fans, air handling units, VAVs, and fan-powered boxes.Maintain safe operation of electronic/pneumatic environmental controls; oil- and gas-fired water-tube boilers; and auxiliaries (pumps, deaerating tanks, air compressors, blowers).Investigate and diagnose issues in environmental control and stationary systems using proper inspection, testing, and monitoring methods; operate tools safely and correctly.Rapidly learn facility layouts, equipment locations, and operating procedures for environmental controls and monitoring systems.Adhere to safety procedures and standards set by CGL Facility Management, LLC, OSHA, and our clients.Inspect finished work to confirm compliance with local building and safety codes.Escort subcontractors and oversee their work while on-site.Maintain clean, safe work areas; complete required compliance, safety, and developmental training.Assist in training technicians from other disciplines; provide mentorship, oversight, and direction.Support additional preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as assigned by CGL Facility Management.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED (required).1–3 years of HVAC maintenance experience in commercial or residential settings.Solid understanding of HVAC equipment plus one or more trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, general building maintenance.Ability to interpret blueprints and as-built drawings.Availability for occasional on-call rotations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Certifications may be required.Self-starter and team player with strong communication and client service skills.Valid, in-state Driver’s License (DL NUMBER) required.EPA 608 Certification required; HVAC Certification preferred.Driving RequirementThis position requires driving for the Company using either (1) a Company vehicle at any frequency from rarely to constantly; or (2) a personal or rental vehicle to conduct Company business more than 50% of the time to perform work duties.CompensationCompensation is competitive and equitable.
