Job summary

Zeller is seeking a maintenance technician to operate and maintain building systems, ensuring tenant comfort. The role covers electrical, plumbing, and security/life safety equipment under the supervision of the Chief Engineer.

You will perform preventive maintenance, monitor HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, and energy use, keep tools organized, and participate in safety trainings. A HS diploma/GED and 2–5 years related experience preferred, CFC and OSHA knowledge appreciated.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years related experience
• Special knowledge and skills in building maintenance
• Skilled in use of tools and machinery common to trade
• Certifications as required by local, state and federal jurisdictions
• Knowledge of Pneumatic Controls
• Knowledge of OSHA standards
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to operate Energy Management Systems and supervise Fire Life Safety components
• CFC certification

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief/Lead Engineer in operating and adjusting refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, and life safety systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on base building systems and manage tools/supplies
• Monitor and control refrigeration, cooling, boilers, and energy consumption; document readings
• Maintain tools and order supplies; participate in safety/operations trainings
• Ensure safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials and keep workspace clean
• Perform other duties as assigned
