Job summary

ABM Industries in Phoenix is seeking a Building Engineer to operate and maintain heating, ventilation and related equipment across the site. The role covers boilers, pumps, compressors, refrigerant equipment and the building's electrical distribution to ensure safe, reliable operation.

You will follow Preventive Maintenance schedules, recalibrate controls for seasonal changes, and perform repairs on mechanical and utility systems while coordinating with Building Management.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair boilers, heaters, pumps, valves and steam distribution lines.
• Service refrigerant compressors, condensers, evaporators and related piping and controls.
• Maintain air compressors and gas distribution lines and related controls.
• Maintain water filters, piping, pumps and distribution components for building systems.
• Recalibrate controls seasonally to ensure energy-efficient operation.
